Enter Shikari reveal live video for ‘Redshift’

By Ben Tipple

Enter Shikari have unveiled a live video, recorded during their huge show at London’s Alexandra Palace. The clip sees the band performing their most recent single, ‘Redshift’.

“After such a spectacle, we decided to cobble together and edit the footage from the jumbotrons on the night,” front-person Rou Reynolds explains. “Unfortunately a lot of the crowd footage was warped and unusable, but we were only able to put together one great track rather a whole show, but we hope this’ll give you an idea of the energy on the night. As I edited the video, Rory and our engineer / foxy hunk Tim Morris edited the audio too.”

“Being such a DIY tour – programming the video screen content and 4.1 surround sound mix ourselves, for example – it seems only right and proper that we apply that approach to the documentation of the show too. Victory snatched from the jaws of defeat, and all that.”

Enter Shikari are currently sitting on the complete audio from the show. Just what will happen with that remains to be seen. In the meantime, check out their performance of ‘Redshift’ below.
