Download Festival adds Muncie Girls, Heck and Zoax in latest announcement

The latest mammoth announcement by Download Festival sees punk royalty, as well as a number of British upstarts added to the bill.

With 36 bands confirmed in the latest announcement, the diversity of the festival is beginning to show, ranging from punk upstarts Muncie Girls to second stage headliners Jane’s Addiction.

Punk fans will have the opportunity to see NOFX on the Encore Stage on the Saturday, plus Anti-Flag further down the bill.

Black Peaks, HECK, Zoax and SHVPES will represent the British upstarts, joined by Bury Tomorrow, Turbowolf and As Lions.

The announcement is completed by Slaves (U.S.), Sixx:A.M., One OK Rock, Monster Truck, Escape The Fate, Alien Ant Farm, Graveyard and Amon Amarth.

The festival, running from the 10th until the 12th June 2016, will be topped by Rammstein, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath, with tickets available now.
