Diet announce release of ‘Palindrome’ EP

By Ben Tipple

Sitting comfortably somewhere between indie and emo, New York based Diet are preparing to release their new EP on the 5th August. It follows last month’s reissue of their self-titled record.

“We’re really excited to release our new EP on Imminence Records,” Guitarist Chris Taranto divulges. “We’ve worked on it for almost half a year, making a piece of work that naturally flows out of last year’s debut and shows a new direction and higher level of musicianship. We think we have something people will really relate with.”

Starting life as a pop-punk band, Diet now produce a sound more likely linked to the likes of Tigers Jaw or Nai Harvest. The EP’s lead single, ‘I Can’t Sit Still’, was released back in January, and will close the five track record.
