It’s true! The hit Warner Brothers TV show wants Punktastic to be a part of the sixth series of the popular teen TV show, seen by millions across the world.
As bizarre as it sounds, Punktastic’s Ben received an email from the shows Art Department, asking us if we wanted the Punktastic logo to be displayed on a set of a student bar that will be heavily focused in the new series.
And as we know most of you will be fans of Katie Holmes (aka Joey Potter) we thought we’d let you know about the intriguing, and what appears to be genuine, offer…
Part of the email read: “I work in the Art Dept. for the TV series “Dawson’s Creek” and am writing to inquire if you may have some posters, CD’s, stickers, postcards, T-shirts etc. that we may use on our sets.
“We are building several new sets for our 6th season. One of
which is a college bar/hangout that will get a lot of air time. We are constantly trying to update & keep our sets looking fresh. Our decorator loves to
incorporate items from groups you may not ecessarily “know”.
“This is a great venue in which to get your name and face out there. These items will be used strictly as background dressing.”
The email of course goes on to give contact names and numbers that we should ring for further details. So kids, what do YOU think we should do? Sell out to the masses or remain true to the ‘punk’ spirit. Not that any of us here would know what that means…
