Parisian metalcore quintet Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! have released the official video for ‘Haters Gonna Hate’, taken from their album ‘Pardon My French’.
Tongue-in-cheek as ever, the video sees them take on their Marmite-esque reputation, battling with themselves to get their own song played.
Singer Bert Ponchet explains: “The band play both punk and nerd versions of themselves. The two “bands” fight themselves with paint and this intensifies over the course of the video until the entire scene is a huge paint fight. Everyone and everything is covered in the paint, no longer so different from one another. Positively unified. Needless to say, we had a lot of fun shooting this music video, the paint fight was obviously a big mess, all of our clothes were ruined and we had to shower for hours afterwards but it was amazing and very funny!”
