Cheap Meat sign to Hassle Records and reveal new video

By Ben Tipple

London three piece Cheap Meat have joined the Hassle Records ranks, and are celebrating by releasing the video for ‘Sweetness, Take Me Back’. The track will appear on their newly announced debut EP, ‘The Parts That Show’, due in early 2016.

“We want to be the band that makes you want to be in a band not to mention a lesson in arts and crafts, with homemade ‘zines that the band write, print and fold themselves,” the band say.

“I spent most of my teenage years growing my hair out and trying to be a bit Paul Simon and a bit Elliott Smith, but I would say silly things between songs and kill the vibe… then I decided I wanted to be a stand up comedian and ended up doing Improv but I missed playing guitar. When Matt and I started playing songs together, I remembered that you’re supposed to have fun,” Matt Rebeiro adds.

Cheap Meat will appear alongside labelmates Max Raptor in London on the 19th November 2015 at The Barfly.
