Catch Fire stream new single, ‘Introspective Pt I’

By Ben Tipple

Catch Fire are streaming ‘Introspective Pt I’, the follow-up to their debut single, ‘Bad Behaviour‘.

“Lyrically It’s about feeling insignificant in a relationship, when you can’t help but feel like the other person would be happier without you, which inadvertently makes you unhappy and leaves you feeling inadequate,” says drummer Ash. “Yes, that’s right, a pop punk song about a girl,” he jokes.

Catch Fire recently re-branded from Layby following the acquisition of vocalist Miles Kent. “We thought it was only right to give ourselves a makeover, as we felt that we were a different band completely, with regard to the music we make and the things we stand for.”

The new outfit will be releasing their debut EP, ‘The Distance I Am From You’, due on the 5th February.

Pre-order ‘The Distance I Am From You’ physically and digitally now. Find out more about Catch Fire on Facebook and Twitter.
