So this week has been a pretty exciting time to be a Brand New fan. Given the degree of news we have posted, we feel it is only right we give you an up to date summary of the vinyl releases the band has put on offer this week.
The first release is the 12″ single for ‘I Am Nightmare’, which comes with an etched b-side, and is taken from the forthcoming Brand New LP which is allegedly due later this year.
Next we have the 10″ for ‘3 Demos, Reworked’. It features re-recorded versions of ‘Brothers’, ‘Missing You’, and ‘1996’, as well as the original demos of the tracks. While the pressing is said to be indefinite, this will be the only time these recordings will be released on vinyl.
Finally, there is the 7″ release of ‘Mene’, which the band unveiled last year. It will include an exclusive B-side, ‘Out Of Range.’
U.S pre-orders for all of the above are available now via Procrastinate! Music Traitors, while Banquet Records will be handling UK pre-orders.
That just about wraps up all the Brand New news from the week, but as ever, there will no doubt be more to come from the band as the months progress. We will be waiting.
