Reports are surfacing today that Blink 182 have confirmed an appearance at the Gig on the Green event in Glasgow in August.
The gig is the third leg of the Carling Festivals, which also take place at Reading and Leeds. However, it is not believed that Mark, Tom and Travis are to play at either of the English dates.
At this time neither band nor label have confirmed the appearance, although there are strong internet rumours suggesting the band are playing alongside The Offspring and The Prodigy.
It would however be very strange to see the band play just one UK date, bearing in mind they cancelled two tours, for very different and controversial reasons, last year.
