Madison Bloodbath, Dan Padilla, The Maxies, Moderate To Severe @ Empire Bowl, Redlands, California

A punk show at a bowling alley? Yes! Matt McCracken, frontman for Madison Bloodbath, used to put on shows there back in his youth. Now turning 40 years old, he decided to revisit the scene of the crimes, so to speak, and put together a show to celebrate this milestone. Madison Bloodbath doesn’t play very often these days, but here they were, sounding every bit as if they just finished a month-long tour. Coming up from San Diego and out of retirement were the reunited Dan Padilla, whose last show was two and a half years ago. The Maxies contributed their outlandish antics, and newer band Moderate to Severe opened things up. All in the bowling alley’s sports bar, with TVs lining the walls, as you can see in these photos.
