Old Man Gloom stream both ‘The Ape Of God’ LPs

By Ben Tipple

Old Man Gloom, the “supergroup” consisting of members of Isis, Cave In and Converge, have released two full-length albums (in terms of running time over tracks) with the same name.

Having leaked a decoy album of sorts – originally showcased ‘The Ape Of God’ material turns out to be edited versions of material from across the records – the band have now revealed the material in full.

According to the band, the decoy was designed to stick it to press, certain that it would be leaked across the internet. Instead, Old Man Gloom have been preparing to unleash the music as it should be heard.

Each album, again both with the same name, is streaming via Stereogum and The Quietus.
