Jesse James round-up

By paul

Punk soul brothers (their phrase not mine…) Jesse James have been busy little bees of late, so here is a round-up of what the band are going to be up to this summer…

Firstly the band have announced that they unfortunately ARE NOT playing at the Isle of Wight punk Festival on Monday 3rd June or at the Jam in The Park festival in Leighton Buzzard on the 4th June. This is because they have to go in to the studio to get started on recording their new album.

But to the good news! The new EP- ‘Hotwired’ – will be released by Deck Cheese Records on June 17 (deck008) and the tracklisting is:

Hotwired
Where Do I Belong
Shoot From The Hip
Colonial
Hold On

Ben the trombone player, who took time out to finish university in New Mexico, has returned to the band, making them a seven piece again. However, you are not likely to see all seven members of the band on stage at once just yet, after Pete broke his wrist on the last date with the Suicide Machines and won’t be fit to play again for a month or so…

Also, a massive UK tour is planned, check www.jessejames.co.uk for all the dates…
