Push (ex Southtowne Lanes) share unstable video for ‘V’

By Aaron Lohan

Today we are happy to present the video for Push’s new single, ‘V’.

With one half of the duo being former Southtowne Lanes member Matt Kupka, the song demonstrates the band’s wayward brand of emotive post hardcore, which dramatically shifts back and forth between serenic weariness to cathartic upheavals. The video goes hand in hand with this motion, which according to Kupka, is purely intentional.

“This is the fifth track off our debut record, ‘For Sale by Owner’,” states Kupka, “The music itself is erratic and seemingly all over the place, and the corresponding video reflects that. The song and video are both parts to a whole piece, and the rest of that piece will be available later this month.”

‘V’ is taken from Push’s upcoming debut album, ‘For Sale by Owner’, which will be released on the 22nd January via Dog Knights Productions.
