Listen to ‘Repeat’, the new track from Hot Mass

By Glen Bushell

Make no mistake about it, Hot Mass make one hell of a racket. Given that the Welsh band is made up of members The Arteries, Dividers, and 33, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that they have gone on to make more delightfully noisy punk rock. Nothing captures this better than their new track, ‘Repeat’, which we are giving you an exclusive first play of below.

“I’m coming to the end of my PhD and the song is about kinda losing the motivation for what I’ve been doing for the past four years,” says Hot Mass vocalist, Jenks. ”With deadlines, and the expectation to do well favouring repetitiveness over creativity. I think that imbalance applies to a lot of other things too.”

The track itself will appear Hot Mass’ debut album, ‘Nervous Tensions’, which is released in May via Brassneck Records. You can listen to the excellent new track, ‘Repeat’ below.
