Listen to Glacier Veins new single, ‘Different Faces’

By Glen Bushell

With their frantic punk sound, and a penchant for uplifting melody, it makes the self-examining narrative of Glacier Veins new single, ‘Different Faces’, incredibly uplifting. It is the latest track to be taken from the Portland natives debut EP, ‘Clear Your Head’, which is released through Ronald Records next week. Today we are bringing you the first play of ‘Different Faces’ below, with vocalist Malia Endres giving us some background of the excellent track.

“The track is kind of a flow of thoughts, or one of those letters that you write to someone but don’t intend to send,” explains Endres. “I think expressing and understanding how you feel is so important because so much growth occurs when you have a clear and honest perspective. People and things are constantly changing; don’t hold onto how things were in the past or how you expected them to be now. You can improve your current situation when you allow change and growth in your life.”

‘Clear Your Head’ is released on June 12th via Ronald Records, and is available to pre-order now. Glacier Veins also have several shows planned in support of the release, which you can see below.
