First play of the new Paper Space EP, ‘Fireboy’

By Glen Bushell

“Just downer stuff really,” say Californian rock band, Paper Space, when asked to describe their new EP, ‘Fireboy’, which we are bringing you an exclusive listen to today. “The songs lyrically all concern feelings of loneliness, displacement, and just a general mistrust of those around you.”

“We recorded this EP on our own collectively as a band and spent no money on the actual production, so there’s certainly a lo-fi feel,” they continue, opening up about the raw feel of the excellent EP. “Recording this way can be great because we get complete control over the final outcome, but we certainly have to make compromises in terms of sound. We by no means believe this EP to be perfect, but we are insanely proud of what we were able to do with such limited resources.”

‘Fireboy’ is released on October 21st via Ronald Records, and is available to pre-order now.
