First play of the new Dexter-inspired video from They Say Fall

By Glen Bushell

Remember how great the show Dexter was? If that was your thing, you are surely going to love the serial killer-inspired, NSFW video for ‘Darkly Dreaming’, the new single from Lincolnshire post-hardcore band, They Say Fall. Today we are bringing you an exclusive first look at the video.

“This is our first outing writing from a different perspective, and it’s been so much fun,” explains They Say Fall’s Kehn Gembalczyk. “The song and video are both based on the TV show Dexter, and the novel, Darkly Dreaming Dexter, by Jeff Lindsay. We’re huge fans of the show, and we’ve wanted to pay homage to the Dexter universe for a very long time! Though the song portrays a dark image of this sociopath serial killer struggling to find himself, it felt effortless to write and still feels like something we can connect to, obviously on a much lesser scale, but through the basic human sense of deciding between right and wrong.”

’Darkly Dreaming’ is available as a pay-what-you-like download via Bandcamp.
