We at Punktastic are exclusively unveiling Austeros’ video for their new single ‘Island’.
The song is the first track to be taken from their upcoming new EP ‘I’ve Got This!’, which was produced by Woahnows’ Tim Rowing-Parker. It sees the indie punks take inspiration from late 80s pop rooted indie and punk.
As for the track’s meaning, vocalist/guitarist Jeremy Pitcher had the following to say: “’Island’ is about how we’d reached the end of our tether living in Cheltenham.”
‘Island’ by Austeros is featured on their upcoming new EP ‘I’ve Got This!’, which will be released on the 14th April via Specialist Subject Records (UK), Chisel Records (CAN) and Tour Van Records (US). You can pre-order it here. The band will also be playing the following UK and European shows.
