Swearin’ announce reformation

By Aaron Lohan

Swearin’ have announced that they will be reuniting.

The Philly indie punks who feature Allison Crutchfield were originally active from 2012 to 2015, where they released an EP and two albums. Following the release of their 2013 second album ‘Surfing Strange’ on Salinas Records (US) and Wichita Recordings (UK), the band split due to personal reasons.

There is no news of new material or UK shows just yet, but the only activities they have planned is a US tour with Superchunk in April. Keep your eyes peeled however. For those dates it should be mentioned that they will be joined by Amanda Bartley on bass, who’ll be stepping in for Keith Spencer.
