Recreations [Sam Duckworth] announce debut album and UK tour

By Ben Tipple

Following last month’s ‘Digital Ghettos’ EP, Recreations – the latest project by singer-songwriter Sam Duckworth – will be releasing their debut full-length, entitled ‘Baby Boomers 2’, via Xtra Mile Recordings.

“The album has been illustrated by the absurdly talented Rebecca Hendin (who currently holds the World Illustration Award for New Talent in Editorial Illustration.) As a result of it looking incredible and the idea that special things should be made and held, its ‘physically exclusive’,” Duckworth explains. “In its full glory it is a masterpiece and I’d hate for you to see it any other way for the first time. It hides behind the R. So you can take a sneak peak into the design on the digital cover.”

Recreations

Recreations will be hitting the road, joined by Rob Lynch and Sam McGowan on a rotating support basis, “who will be taking it in turns as to who goes on first, gets too drunk and has to look after the other.”
