PiL Announce New Album

By Mike Scott

Public Image Ltd are to release a new album on September 4th. The announcement of ‘What The World Needs’ was announced today, with plans for a single – ‘Double Trouble’ – to precede the release on August 21st. The album will be the band’s 10th, but the first in 17 years. John Lydon (incidentally looking a look like the ‘my brain hurts’ bloke off of Monty Python in the press shots) commented on the album, saying “Buy now while stocks last”. You would expect nothing less.
