Owner of Norwich’s Owl Sanctuary to open new venue in city

By Ben Tipple

In a statement posted to Facebook yesterday evening, the owner of Norwich’s ill-fated The Owl Sanctuary has confirmed the opening of a new venue in the city. Ambitiously scheduled to open its doors on February 19th, the Timber Hill located venue is the result of a successful crowdfunding campaign, organised by Outline Magazine.

In the statement, the venue expresses their gratitude to all those who have donated, detailing how the funds are being used to pay the deposit on the new venue, and to ensure staff are subsidised between the recent closure of The Owl Sanctuary and the 19th February.

All shows scheduled to take place at The Owl Sanctuary will move to the new location, which retains the same capacity.
