New Have Heart/Basement collaboration

By Richard Craig

Members of British melodic hardcore band Basement and defunct Boston, MA hardcore band Have Heart have teamed up under the name Fiddlehead.

Fiddlehead features Shawn Costa (drums) and Pat Flynn (vocals) from Have Heart, and Alex Henery (guitar) from Basement, as well as Alex Dow and Adam Gonsalves.

Have Heart played their last show four years (and one week) ago, on 17th October 2010. The show, taking place on Edge Day, was recorded for a live DVD.

Basement ‘broke up’ in November 2012, before announcing their return from hiatus in January 2014. They released a new EP, ‘Further Sky’, in July.

Fiddlehead’s demo, ‘Out Of The Bloom’ is streaming on the band’s bandcamp page.
