Jack Off Jill to play London’s Electric Ballroom

By Ben Tipple

Iconic riot-goth outfit Jack Off Jill will be heading to the UK for a reunion show in London at the Electric Ballroom. The show, scheduled for the 21st October 2015, follows the band’s recent appearance at The Orange Peel in North Carolina – billed as a one-off.

Jack Off Jill split up in 2000 following the release of ‘Clear Hearts Grey Flowers’ and some significant band in-fighting. According to an interview with Alternative Press, the band reformed following a chance encounter with a poster in a Asheville gas station.

Having been confined to announcing the US reunion show as a one-off due to health issues, the band are now free for international travel, seeing them cross the Atlantic for the London show.

Tickets for the London date go on sale tomorrow, Friday 24th July, at 10AM. Robin Moulder has joined the line-up in place of original bassist Helen Storer.
