Slam Dunk Festival 2011 initial announcement Slam Dunk has announced the first batch of bands for this year’s festival! Click the picture of the line up below to see a statement from Slam Dunk 2011 organiser Ben Ray about the changes to this year’s event, and what you can expect: Authority Zero UK tour starts today Authority Zero kick off some UK dates today – you can see them at the dates below: 16/02 – Newcastle Trillians 17/02 – London Nambucca 18/02 – Salisbury Art Centre 19/02 – Aldershot Westend Centre New Sum 41 viral Sum 41 have posted a viral video made of tour footage for their song “Screaming Bloody Murder” ahead of a “proper” promo video. The band release new album “Screaming Bloody Murder” on March 29th any play the Underworld in Camden Isle of Wight additions The Isle of Wight Festival has added The Cult, The Courteeners, Big Country, Band of Horses, Mike + The Mechanics, We Are Scientists, Wonderland, Springbok Nude Girls, Various Cruelties, ABC and Edei. The festival is on it’s tenth anniversary on 10th – 12th QOTSA at the Roundhouse Queens Of The Stone Age will play the Roundhouse in London on May 17th. The band are reissuing their debut and will be playing it in its entirety with some extra b-sides. 2000 Trees 2011 Update You can see the full current line up for 2000 trees below with some additional bands (some of which are firm pt favourites), and this year’s event is looking bigger and better than ever.
