DissolvedIn – S/T DissolvedIn are clearly talented kids and can easily write catchy songs, but they’re suffering from a huge identity crisis which I feel will hinder them from making any kind of impact on the UK scene. Over the course of a 5-track EP the band go from sounding Left Alone – S/T Left Alone are about as unfashionable as it gets nowadays. Don’t get me wrong, that’s a good thing. But in terms of appealing to anyone who isn’t either a) a fan of Rancid clones or b) going through the difficult teenage phase where you sport Speccy Surrey band Spectrum 7 are previewing tracks from their debut album ‘So Silent the Night’, set to be released later on this year on an, as of yet, undisclosed label. Chris from Lost on Landing will Fight Fair – Settle The Score Following a fairly successful EP release Triple Crown (the former home of Brand New and also home to Hit The Lights) snapped up Fight Fair and this is their debut release on the label. If you like bands such as Four Unwritten Law – Live and Lawless Back in their earlier days Unwritten Law were one of the best pop-punk bands around. Influencing the likes of Blink 182 (they cross-ref the band in ‘Josie’) and others, it’s hard to believe the band are now in their 18th year and actually older than Green Day to re-release albums on vinyl Reprise Records are to re-release all of Green Day‘s albums on vinyl.
