Carrying on The Militia Group’s tradition for releasing records that are choc-full of catchy choruses, Mobile‘s ‘new’ album (which is gaining its first US release after Look Mexico – This Is Animal Music I really enjoyed Look Mexico‘s ‘Crucial EP’; it was one of those twee little indie rock records that wsn’t afraid to wear some of its’ own influences on their collective sleeves, yet had a large dollop of originality too. The band also have a new website at www.goodcore.com/hopewood Caesura – Dear Light Outside Chaser raved on about Caesura more than a year ago, so having been aware of this band for quite some time I’m not surprised this release is a good ‘un. Hailing from Winchester, Caesura are an ambitious band who remind me of Bloc Collision Course Fest – first bands revealed This year’s Collision Course Festival will take place on August 4 at Yeovil Ski Lodge and the following day at the Cockpit in Leeds. So far confirmed to play are Ghost of a Thousand, Kids In Glass Houses and Flood of Puppets in the court The High Court release ‘Puppet Strings’ on I Surrender on July 24, check out tracks to tide you over at www.myspace.com/thehighcourt The Wonder Years get stoked The Wonder Years have signed to No Sleep Records and will release new album “Get Stoked on It!” on November 20.
