Seriously, without a shadow of a doubt one of the best things about writing for Punktastic is the fact that I get free Smoke Like A Fish albums without even asking for them. Even though this is a collection of early stuff and rarities it’s The Briefs – Sex Objects There’s retro, which is, y’know, cool but not at the same time. Then there’s nostalgia, which means if you weren’t cool before you can pretend that you were. Then there’s pointless retreading of all-too familiar themes and images for the sake of, well, no one in particular.
