Truth be told they’re not really my thing, but the very impressive brass section really holds this band together. This EP is made up of four pretty similar songs, all verse/chorus/verse, albeit the One Day Elliott – Rule Number One ‘Rule Number One’ isn’t too bad for an extended EP – at seven songs it’s perhaps a track or two on the long side, but at least the band have plenty of good ideas, even if they’re not always as well executed as they could be. For example, ‘01622’ MxPx – Panic I don’t think I need to say that I’m a big MxPx fan – I say that at the beginning of every review of theirs that I do. They’re the band that pretty much got me into punk, and indirectly Punktastic, so if you’re looking for Buy this zine, it’s good There’s a new issue (number 12) of ‘a short fanzine about ROCKING’ out and this issue includes interviews with: Poison The Well, No Comply, Hot Water Music, Taking Back Sunday, Bring Me The Horizon, Ghostride, Bullet with butterfly wings Bullet Union have upcoming tour dates and want even more – click ‘discuss this item’ to get all the info… A news item is posted here Submitted: “Lancaster based punk rockers “The Guilty Pleasures” are releasing their debut EP through Noize Anoize Music in July.
