You're browsing the archives « Previous PageNext Page » From Tuesday 04 May 2004 Five Knuckle – Balance It’s quite nerve-wracking reviewing an album from a band you genuinely love, especially when that band is Bristol’s (and perhaps this entire country’s?) finest purveyors of hardcore, the simply breathtaking Five Knuckle. It’s been a hell of a wait since their debut album on Household Midtown – Forget What You Know Yeah, this one’s the real ‘un… Midtown have always been a hugely frustrating band. The first couple of times I saw them they were simply excellent, all vibrantly catchy melodies and energetic crunch in bucketloads, but their records always underwhelmed me. Rather than capturing the punchy Help (again) Sadly the Norwich date of the Punktastic Tour has died a death, so if anyone can help us out please email paul@punktastic.com ASAP. The Living End will officially release ‘Modern ARTillery’ in the UK in August. 215 get warned Pete from The Bombjacks and Gareth from Short Warning will fill in on drums for Route 215 while Nick takes his six-month sabbatical.
