Amongst the four tracks on offer, all seem to have a very jagged edge of angst and malice which comes across fairly well if a little bludgeoning. But while all the anger and frustration Aceface – One There is a delightful feel of the old school to Aceface from the moment the first chord is struck on ‘Oxbridge Boys’. Rather like being shoved back into the early eighties – minus the mascara and leather trousers – Aceface take great delight The new recordings sound phat!
