Park play in the snow

The awesome Park heads into the studio next week to record their new album “It Doesn’t Snow Where You’re Going” which is set for a September release. This band are amazing, so if you haven’t checked them out already, do so now.

The first of our cool little announcements is that Punktastic is to have its own little club night! We’ve teamed up with the Fighting Cocks in Kingston in London to help co-ordinate a punk/ska/emo/alternative night for anyone who fancies a drink and meeting like-minded people.

Shoe! – Don’t Shoot Your Firearms In Celebration

Shoe! are yet another band rising out of an Exeter scene that is positively thriving. While their football team may have lost league status, having the name of the city on your band CV is seemingly bringing a lot of label attention.

Solanoid – January 14

Aside from the fact that Solanoid are from Darlington, I know bugger all about this three-piece. With a record cover that has a diary date on fire and an inside that is just plain black, there’s certainly something mysterious about the chaps.

Mmmm…beer

Those Positivity peeps in Nottingham are at it again with a couple of top nights lined up. This Wednesday at Rock City there will be live music from the Punktastic-approved Mybe, Brat and King Monkey. Doors 9pm-2am, £2 entry all night.
