I don’t like this band but at least it is news

Jesse James have flown out to San Francisco to record a new album at Fat Mike’s Motor Studios. Ryan Greene (of No Use and many others fame) will handle the production duties. The album will be released on Golf in September.

Onslow – Live…ish!

Onslow have been making a splas in the Norwich punk scene recently, with several gigs supporting the likes of Insaniac. This EP is their first recorded collection of three songs and is on sale for some paltry sum – well worth it, if you ask me. Why?

Half Inch Heroes – Lessons Learnt

This young ska-based lot have been gigging for a while around the Tunbridge Wells scene for a while, and have managed to score gigs with the likes of Lightyear, Spankb…er, SolaBeat Alliance and Howards Alias. ‘Lessons Learnt’ is their new EP, complete with

Frenzal Rhomb – Sans Souci

Think Australian music stars and your brain won’t take you much further than the princess of pop, the incredibly tiny Kylie. How long have we in Britain had to face the stream of Aussie soap stars flying over to abuse our eardrums? However, the home

An infectious funeral

Funeral For A Friend have signed to Infectious Records (a subsiduary of Warners I’m told) and will release ‘Juno‘ as a single in July. Their debut album, provisionally named ‘Casually Dressed And Deep In Conversation’ will follow later this year, probably after an appearance
