“We got together in 2015, while sat in a kebab house in Wolverhampton chatting about music and just decided that we should start this project,” SaltWounds’ Adam Schmidt explains. The resulting music is an exciting blend of melodic punk and emo, switching in pace from fast guitars to introspective lyrical themes. Gritty vocals lead the positive message running through ‘Weak Days’, providing the light at the end of the tunnel.
“‘Weak Days’ is the lead single from our debut release,” Schmidt continues. “The song itself is about witnessing someone who’s close to you going through depression but also trying to put a positive spin and trying to help them overcome and deal with the issue’s they are facing.”
“The song was recorded by the amazing Sam Bloor at Lower Lane Studio and we’re stoked with what we got from him and the video was filmed by Martyna Wisniewska of Gingerdope Photography who did an amazing job!”
