Watch the video for ‘Good Old Days’ by Montrose

By Ben Tipple

Bordering between pop-punk and melodic pop-rock, Bath four-piece Montrose inject a heavier edge onto the usual upbeat formula. ‘Good Old Days’ projects its melancholic retrospect through darker undertones and a distorted look-back at the band’s adventures.

“We just tried going with a nostalgic kind of vibe, which is why we put it through a VHS after we got the final cut of the video,” the band explain. “We went for this to tie in with the theme of the song itself and it’s just a bunch of clips of us dicking around on the last tour we went on!”

‘Good Old Days’ is taken from the band’s recent ‘Monster Under The Bed’ EP, available to stream and purchase now via BandCamp.
