The track displays the vunerable nature of the group’s indie/emo stylings. The video, directed by Alex Snow, goes hand in hand with the yearning shrouding the band’s delivery.
“This video is about loss when you’re not ready for it,” explains guitarist/vocalist Chris Babbit, “it’s about reminiscing, and not in a good way. The song explains the acceptance and closure of that loss. It’s about longing for something you wish could stay together just a bit longer.”
‘Stay’ is taken from Shiver.’s debut album, ‘Evergreen’, which was released last year on Honest Face Records and Counter Intuitive Records.
