Rough Hands have been creating a buzz throughout their year based on their aptly-titled album, ‘Let Me Win Your Hearts and Minds’. Today we are bringing you the first look at their new video for ‘Relapsed’, which contains footage from a PT Presents show the Rough Hands played in London.
“Lyrically the song represents the monotonous nature of every day life and the constant psychological battle of reacting to that monotony, accepting it, finding some kind of silver lining, then eventually falling back into the cycle of negative thoughts all over again,” says vocalist,Alex Dench. “‘Relapsed’ was a bit of a surprise for us. During the writing and recording session it never felt like a single of sorts, but sitting down and listening to the record once it was finished it became clear that it was a standout track. I think there were about 7 or 8 different vocal tracks I recorded before we finally got one we were satisfied with.”
‘Let Me Win Your Hearts and Minds’ is available now via Dog Knights Productions.
