The thrash/crossover movement that emerged in 80’s is still one of the greatest things to happen in punk. A number of classic albums were released, including ‘The Jokes On You’, the second album from SoCal legends, Excel.
Southern Lord are due to reissue a deluxe version of Excel’s 1989 opus, and we are bringing you a UK exclusive of the release which you can relive below. With a fantastic remastering job by Brad Boatright at Audioseige, this reissue of the ‘The Jokes On You’ not only contains the twelve tracks from the original CD, but also a bonus track, ‘Blaze Some Hate’, which was released as a standalone single.
The reissue of ‘The Jokes On You’ is released on November 18th via Southern Lord Records.
