Over & Out get all glamorous with their new track

By Ben Tipple

One thing few in life speak of, but most encounter, is a battle between comfort and exploration. For some, it’s a fleeting thought. For others, a consistent one wedged firmly at the back of the mind. Is it a good idea to give up everything you know and often love, for potential opportunity?

“The song ‘Glamour’ is about growing up,” says Over & Out front man Steve Harrison of their new track, the first to appear from their recently announced sophomore EP, ‘Engram’. “It is about small town life and wanting to be reckless like James Dean. t is about dreaming of a movie scene life of exuberance and excess but feeling so far away from it. It is about spending most of your time in your imagination and being tired of a dull reality.”

Harrison suggests the answer is self-evident. Spread those wings and free the nest. If anything, ‘Glamour’ will provide a soaring soundtrack to the start of that journey. Anthemic and expansive, it’s just the right track to see you off into the sunset.

‘Engram’ will be available from the 15th January 2016 via Gold Mold Records. The band are expected to tour in early 2016.
