Melt your face in 23 seconds, courtesy of Krak Krak’s ‘Regretsy’

23 secords. That’s how long Krak Krak allow on their latest track to soak in their venomous, high-octane hardcore force.

“We’ve always tried to see how far we could push the sound of this band and ‘Regretsy’ was one of those pushes… Who needs a chorus? Why can’t a song be 23 seconds long? Why can’t we just shout about our regrets?” the Brighton trio ponder. “This is currently our shortest song but we want to take it further and really hone the tag of radio friendly grindcore.”

‘Regretsy’ is far from radio friendly, exhausting and exhilarating in equal measures. It’s a frantic insight into the band’s forthcoming full-length, ‘All The Punks In The World Can’t Save You Now’, due on the 30th November 2015.

It’s the latest in a series, seeing Krak Krak deliver a weekly premiere each track from the album. Elsewhere, the band draw influence from the likes of Melt Banana and Refused, as well as combining grindcore and stoner rock.

Blink and you’ll miss it.
