Listen to Luke Seymoup’s new single, ‘Mosquitoes’

By Glen Bushell

Australian musician Luke Seymoup has been prolific in the Melbourne scene for some time. Now, with the help of some friends providing extra instrumentation, he is releasing his own music. Today we are bringing you the first play of his debut solo single, ‘Mosquitoes’.

“It’s a short and fast song that was originally written over 5 years ago,” explains Seymoup. “I was waiting for the perfect time to record & release it. This was one of the first songs learned by the band after forming in 2014. It has been a live favourite ever since and has even been covered by Ballarat-based musician, David Grimson. The single was recorded by Danny Brickwell (Miyazaki!) and mastered by Jesse Cannon (Basement/Saves The Day/The Menzingers)”

‘Mosquitoes’ is released via Whisk & Key Records, and is available via Bandcamp, Spotify, and iTunes.
