Hear the debut O’Holy Ghost single, ‘I Am a Jinx’

By Glen Bushell

Forming from the ashes of Britishteeth, O’Holy Ghost are finally ready to unveil their debut single, ‘I Am a Jinx’, which we are exclusively bringing you below.

Formed by the bands two singers, James Farrelly and Darren Smith, the London four piece has been through countless line up changes. Now Farrelly is collaborating again with two his ex-Britishteeth bandmates; drummer Tom Maguire and bassist Greg O’Grady.

“I wrote the lyrics to this one after watching the movie ‘Before Midnight’,” says Farrelly of the track. “I really connected with the idea of how important our relationships are to us, both friends and lovers, but in the grand scheme of things, we’re still just these bags of bones floating around the universe with just ourselves for company.

“It’s kind of sad how all these meaningful connections in our lives just become wasted, transient displays of affection and forgotten promises to be life-long friends,” he continues. “I think we have a responsibility as humans to keep reaching out to each other and making meaningful experiences, a shared beer, conversation about a book, or singing along with friends to your favourite songs.”

You can keep to date with O’Holy Ghost over on Facebook, and ‘I Am A Jink’ is available digitally via iTunes, Spotify, and Apple Music.
