Time for some new pop-punk from Bristol based five-piece Hightlives. Filmed during a recent live performance at The Garage in London, the video for ‘Through Vacant Eyes’ showcases the band’s energetic stage presence.
The track discusses accepting mistakes, and the division between home comforts and fleeing the nest. It’s an upbeat pop-punk tune, taking the fundamentals of the genre whilst demonstrating Highlives’ song-writing skills.
Since forming in 2013, Highlives have joined the likes of As It Is, A World Defined and Kids Can’t Fly on various bills. The band will be playing their first headline show on the 9th September at the Exchange in their hometown of Bristol.
