Back in May 2015 we premiered the new track by Boston, Massachusetts pop-punks Missing The Action, promising the release of their debut ‘Vacancy’ EP in the next few weeks. Those few weeks turned into a few months, with the band now ready to release the four tracks including lead single, ‘Ariel’.
“This EP took us a while to put together, and it’s really just the tip of the iceberg for what we have planned to release,” vocalist Dylan Ross explains. “This is a compilation of our first songs, and there are more coming, some similar, some completely different.”
It appears that since recorded ‘Vacancy’, Missing The Action have been working on further developing their sound. That doesn’t stop them wholeheartedly supporting this record.
“We really love how it all came together,” Ross continues, in particular thanking Butter Music in LA of undertaking mixing and editing duties. “We really can’t wait to put some more tunes out and get some more shows going! We hope you like it as much as we liked making it!”
If these four upbeat, catchy pop-punk numbers are anything to go by, Missing The Action have a bright future ahead of them.
