You are responsible for your own happiness. That’s the message on singer-songwriter Andrew Cream’s new track, ‘The Final Straw’. “Get up, move on and make us all proud of you,” he sings on the track’s chorus, a motivational message drawn out of Cream’s own experiences.
“‘The Final Straw’ is one of the most personal songs I’ve written,” he opens up. “It’s about confronting your demons, trying to grow up a making sure you don’t sabotage your relationships.”
The track is taken from Cream’s forthcoming introspective release, ‘Self Portrait’, due on the 8th June via his Scene Better Days label.
Cream will be hitting the road across the north of England and Scotland before heading into mainland Europe with Arms & Hearts in June. He’ll also be playing an album release show in Leeds on the 8th June.
