First play of ‘Laugh Track’ by Vancouver math-emo trio, Yes Bear

By Ben Tipple

‘Laugh Track’, the new song taken from Vancouver trio Yes Bear’s forthcoming EP, delivers a musical reflection of the record’s title, ‘Glimmer’. At just over two minutes, it’s a short burst of erratic yet light energy, complimented by raw melodic vocals that recall the likes of Yourcodenameis:milo.

‘Glimmer’, due for release on the 27th May 2016 via the band’s new Big Smoke home, is their sixth EP release in five years. It also marks a farewell to drummer Miles Chic who is relocating to London, leaving the future of Yes Bear unclear. Yet as these decisions are made, the trio continue to gear up, set to unleash their unpredictable, emotional and shimmering EP.

‘Glimmer’ will be available from the 27th May 2016 via Big Smoke.
