First play of Colt 45’s new track, ‘Hard Times’

By Glen Bushell

Cumbrian punk band, Colt 45 have announce a new singles club, which will see the band releasing six brand new A and B side tracks over the course of the next year. Today we are bringing you the first of the new tracks, ‘Hard Times’.

“Hard Times is a song about growing up, changing, coping with the everyday struggles in life,” says front man Neil Harper. “We recorded these tracks just over the Scottish border in Dumfries which is really convenient for us. It’s a relaxed vibe with our friend Grant which has led to some very natural sounding songs. We wanted to approach these tracks in a similar way to last year’s ‘Snakes & Ladders’ EP – we don’t have time or budget to spend weeks in a studio so this way of working feels right for us, and we’re really excited to get these new tunes out there.”

The singles will be released digitally, as well as on limited edition CD’s on the bands upcoming tour dates, which you can check out below.
