Darling Waste have been chasing dreams back and forth across the Atlantic. Even during dark times, the good will out, which in their case, heralded the creation of their new single, ‘How I Spent My Summer Vacation’, which you can hear exclusively below.
“I had just gotten kicked out of England, where I had been living for a while,” explains Lance Waste. “Because I couldn’t get back over to the UK, I suddenly, for the first time in years, had no plans or responsibilities. No tours,no new album, no real direction. I ended up in Myrtle Beach, met a girl and just kind of hung out for the summer. I spent the summer being super self destructive and just kind of living for the moment. By September, the band was back on track and I moved up to Cleveland.”
‘How I Spent My Summer Vacation’ is taken from their forthcoming album, ‘The Skeleton Key’, which is released in 2017.
