Also from the HHN mailout: “Bristol ska-punkers KENISIA are playing the following gigs in October:
11 October @ Reading Roebuck Hotel w/ THE SETBACKS
19 October @ Brighton Concorde 2
20 October @ Bristol The Croft w/ MOUTHWASH + STROH (Spain)
24 October @ Leicester Attik
After this time we are sorry to say the vocalist Alan Cairns will be leaving the band to concentrate on other aspects of life outside of music. Alan has been involved with Kenisia and punk Bristol/Bath for many years and we’re sure his contribution will be missed. KENISIA are carrying on with trumpet player James taking over on vocals, no stranger to this sort of thing James was in a band in his native USA who supported the likes of NO DOUBT, before coming over and joining KENISIA a couple of years ago. We’re looking forward to seeing them play! “
