Idaho indie-punks Western Daughter are streaming their first ever single, courtesy of New Noise Magazine.
‘The Road is Laced with Something Dangerous’ is taken from the band’s forthcoming ‘As the Sun Went Down’ LP, due on the 8th December 2015.
“We feel ‘The Road is Laced with Something Dangerous’ is a great introduction to Western Daughter,” the band tell New Noise. “Musically, our aim was to teeter back and forth between driving and moody post-punk rhythms and soft, melodic refrains. Lyrically, it deals with feelings of disassociation and loss, even distrust in one’s own memories.”
